A handful of diehards who are struggling to end two and a half months of claims, but will give up. The Hong Kong authorities have undertaken to clean the last occupied neighborhoods. Two weeks after the district of Mong Kok, it was the turn of Admiralty, left in peace by the protesters:
"The government and those in power may well remove our streets, says the pro-democracy MP Alan Leong, they can not win the hearts of Hong Kong people, especially the next two generations and all those young men and women who are the strength lively movement umbrellas. "
Protesters promise not to give up their claim: the totally free election of Hong Kong's leader in 2017, and not with pre-selected by Beijing candidates.
Among the hundreds of people arrested in recent hours, several leaders of the movement, a movement that will remain for China's largest democratic challenge since the uprising in Tiananmen Square.
