First Israeli air strike in Gaza since the summer


Aviation IDF claims to have responded to a rocket attack in the south of the Jewish state that has done no casualties or damage. The Israeli bombardment has no casualties according to a spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza. Israel hit in the Khan Younis area.


This is the first time since the war last summer in the Palestinian coastal territory between the Islamists of Hamas and the Israeli army. For seven weeks of conflict, hostilities were over 2,100 Palestinian deaths mostly civilians, and 73 Israeli victims of which 67 IDF soldiers.


The fighting ceased on August 26 leaving Gaza in a bloodless situation.
