Bringing life back to normal at British airports


Air traffic is disrupted in Britain after a computer failure occurred in a control center. London airspace result had to be closed for about an hour, preventing aircraft from taking off. Hundreds of flights were delayed seeing canceled, including Heathrow, the busiest airport in Europe. Bristol, Leeds and Edinburgh are also affected. Traffic gradually returning to normal at British airports, but delays are still expected in the evening. Check with your company for the status of your flight.


This failure occurred in air traffic control center in Swanwick. There is one year a similar technical problem had caused the mess in British airspace.
