An Egyptian court on Saturday upheld the death sentence against Mohamed Badie, supreme guide of the Muslim Brotherhood. Thirteen other defendants, members of the Brotherhood, have suffered the same sentence. Two of them are on the run.
Dozens of others were sentenced to life imprisonment. They are accused of setting up a 'operations planning room' to sow chaos in the country, after the overthrow of Mohamed Morsi in July 2013. Since then, it is the fourth sentence of Mohamed Badie.
