USA: Midwest tornadoes swept

Tornadoes that devastated the US Midwest killed two in Illinois, the most affected state. Here, in several cities, houses were literally torn from their foundations.

The people come home, to save what could be saved. They tell how they survived the devastating power of the tornado, taking refuge wherever they could.

"Honestly, when I see what it is like home, I do not know how they survived. They were hidden in the bathroom. There is no basement, it's just a slab. And there was just Candy's girlfriend my father, my grandmother and their little dog in the bathroom. And they found the opposite to where the bathroom was located "tells a disaster.

Tornadoes were also a dozen injured in northern Illinois. The states of Ohio and Iowa were also beaten, and many other states were swept by strong winds, accompanied by snowfall in the north.
