Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi called for a cease-fire


The head of state has to negotiate and try to find a solution as the country and especially its capital Sanaa sink more and more violent.


The tension is actually up a notch in Sanaa since the abduction Saturday of President Hadi chief of staff. An act claimed by Shiite militiamen also called Houthi.


Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi was to unite all political parties when clashes broke out again on Monday morning between Shiite militiamen and guards around the presidential palace.


The Houthis controlling the capital with the exception of the presidential palace. Their progress has been meteoric since last September. Hopes for truce or broken agreement concluded but to date have all failed, and violence has never been so deadly in Yemen.
