Under pressure, the IE is trying to get over to Kobané

Large explosions sounded again on Tuesday in the Syrian city of Kobané filmed here from Turkey. The organization Islamic state (EI) attempt, using tanks in particular, to get over the peshmerga which now would control 80% of the city. Kurdish forces captured the last days of an administrative complex, which had fallen into the hands of jihadists.

The fighters of the Islamic State trying for nearly four months to seize this strategic city, which would allow them to hold a large tract of land along the Turkish-Syrian border. They were able to control up to 50% of the city, before gradually recede under the pressure of Peshmerga and air raids by the international coalition. The fighting has already caused hundreds of deaths in both camps.
