The Syrian branch of al Qaeda attacks the Alawites in Lebanon


Nine dead and 37 wounded is the balance sheet of a double suicide bombing in Tripoli, the largest city in northern Lebanon. The attack was claimed by the Al-Nusra Front, the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda. It was a coffee Alawite neighborhood minority from which the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. This attack is feared contagion of the Syrian conflict in Lebanon.
