The pope has completed a triumphant tour in Asia

François was greeted by crowds of records during a long intense journey that will lead Sri Lanka to the Philippines.

A mission land, a land of conquest for Catholicism which the pontiff condemned the materialism and corruption in a country where one in four people live on less than 50 cents per day.

A land where pilgrims numbers are very grateful to him:

"I thank my father because he gave me this and Pope Francis blessed. I am very grateful vis-à-vis my father, because he works very hard for us abroad, for our whole family, "said the little girl.

"It's a saint. This is not only a saint, but in addition, it brings a lot of hope in a time of sorrow and despair. And this is something precious, something that money can not buy, "said the man.

More than six million pilgrims attended yesterday the gigantic mass at Rizal Park in Manila. François outclassed John Paul II came in 1995 and yet champion in the field!

And they were still thousands this morning to come cheer to the door of the plane hoping that Pope Francis back to see them quickly.
