Suspected of being the perpetrators of the attack against Charlie Hebdo, the Kouachi brothers, aged 32 and 34 years respectively, were monitored by security services in France, but also in the United States. The images of the drama, filmed by witnesses, have allowed experts to prepare a first profile terrorists. We see men particularly well trained, able to keep their cool in a context of rare violence, anxious to erase every trace of their passage, and able to use weapons of war. The question is if they acted alone or with the help of an organized group.
Certainty, the younger Sharif spent 18 months in prison in 2008. Linked to a Jihadist thread, he wanted to go to Iraq to fight alongside members of Al Qaïda.D'après the New York Times, his older brother, Said, has traveled to Yemen 2011. There he was trained in the use of weapons by a member of al Qaeda in Yemen before returning to France. Nine relatives of suspects remain in custody in an attempt to answer some of these questions.
