Angry Palestinians threw eggs on Sunday the convoy of Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird. This happened in Ramallah in the West Bank.
The demonstrators wanted to denounce the Canadian diplomatic position they consider too favorable to Israel.
End of 2012, Canada was one of the very few countries to oppose the accession of Palestine to the status of observer state at the UN. And during the summer, while the Israeli offensive on Gaza killed nearly 2,200 Gazans against the current convictions of the international community, the Canadian government reaffirmed Israel's right to defend itself.
