Charlie Hebdo: "We want to avenge the Prophet," claimed terrorists


The perpetrators of the attack against Charlie Hebdo were shouting "Allah akbar" and "said they would avenge the Prophet," said the Paris prosecutor Francois Molins late Tuesday afternoon.

The magistat referred to a group of at least two individuals, "adding that a witness had reported three attackers.

François Molins also said that after the tragedy in the offices of Charlie Hebdo, three patrol cars exchanged gunfire with the terrorists. The first two were no casualties. It was during the last shooting, said the prosecutor, a police officer died.

François Molins made no statement on the survey and ongoing research, "you will understand that we can not state the acutel disclose any information of this type," he added.
