Anger in South Carolina after the death of a Black shot by police


In the city of North Charleston, anger rises. Residents show after the death of a black motorist killed Saturday by a white police officer. Walter Scott, 50, was killed after an altercation with police during a traffic stop, one of the lights of his vehicle was not working.


The officer, Michael Slager, 33, was charged with murder, he risks the death penalty or 30 years imprisonment.

According to the New York Times, the police initially claimed that the victim had taken his taser. But a video shot by a passer overwhelms. "http://ift.tt/1GpqS3m was however seen police shoot eight times in the back of the driver who ran away.


This drama in South Carolina has again exacerbate racial tensions in America where police brutality against blacks have tragically proliferated in recent months.
