2nd day of strike by French air traffic controllers

In France, air traffic controllers went on strike on Thursday for the second consecutive day. A mobilization that, as before, has resulted in numerous flight cancellations and delays at major airports.

Because of the strike, nearly half of the short and medium haul flights were disrupted. Long-haul flights however were not affected by this social movement.

The airlines had done their utmost to prevent the passengers.

This did not prevent the users of being stuck, like this man, who arrived in Ivory Coast: "It's difficult for me, he said. I almost 6 hours of flight before arriving, and I'm stuck! (...) I lost two days of work. ''

The strike also affected neighboring countries.

"We had to go to Paris, but this is not possible: our flight is canceled", explained a transient in Madrid Airport.

This social movement focuses on the working conditions of air traffic controllers.

To put pressure on the authorities, trade unions have already filed notice of strike for the coming weeks.
