A soon as possible referendum on keeping Britain in the European Union. It is the wish of David Cameron has promised to hold such a vote in a reformed European Union in advance if his Conservative party wins the legislative May. If he is not satisfied with the reforms, he repeated Sunday that he "does not exclude anything," threatening to campaign for an EU exit.
Under pressure from Eurosceptics and anti-European party Ukip, the British Prime Minister promised to renegotiate the treaty that binds the United Kingdom to the EU.
The re-election of Mr Cameron is however still far from assured. Labour retain a slight lead in the polls, while the anti-European party Ukip, which has made immigration its main battle horse, has been a bogey after winning the European in May.
