Before being shot several times by a white police officer in the United States, black motorist Walter Scott was filmed by the camera installed in the police vehicle. The video, shot on April 4, was released yesterday. During a traffic stop in South Carolina, the black driver tries to run away. Follows an altercation between Walter Scott and the police officer Michael Slager, according to a witness who then filmed the scene where Slager shoots the motorist.
The officer was arrested and charged with murder and sent back the forces of order.
Black elected as the representative of South Carolina, Carl Anderson called for quick action. "We live again the consequences of a great divide in America. Not just a gap between races, lamented Carl Anderson.
Peaceful protests were held Wednesday in North Charleston, where the drama took place. Walter Scott's funeral is scheduled for Saturday.
