Rohani Erdogan meeting in Tehran on background of conflict in Yemen


Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday made a visit to Tehran where he met his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani. A meeting in a tense situation, since both countries have recently cut to pieces on their regional policy. Turkish President denounces the will of "domination" of Iran that supports the Houthis in Yemen as Ankara supported the intervention of the Sunni coalition.


"We both want to end this conflict and the blood stops flowing in Yemen. The attacks other countries in Yemen must stop, "said Hassan Rohani.

"We should continue to talk and negotiate together with all parties. We should end this bloody conflict and killings "said Erdogan.


In addition, eight agreements were signed by the Ministers concerned to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of transport, energy, industry and health.
