Pro and anti-Castro confront during the Summit of the Americas

The historic rapprochement between Washington and Havana does not resolve tensions within Cuban society. Pro-regime and opposition activists confront several days during the Summit of the Americas held in Panama.

The leader of the "Ladies in White" Berta Soler, and history opponent Guillermo Fariñas were attacked.

The forces of order Panamanian eventually disperse the crowd.

"The Cuban people over there on our island, expects no less from us. He expects this response indignation, rejection and condemnation. The Cuban people could not expect less. Berta Soler Neither nor Fariñas nor any of them represent the Cuban reality, "says a young pro-Castro activist.

The pro-regime activists are furious that dissidents were invited to the Civil Society Forum held on the sidelines of the summit.

"You attend to the most grotesque expression of intolerance cause dictatorial regimes" responds the opponent Violeta Granera.

On Friday, US President Barack Obama met with two Cuban dissidents. They are considered by the regime as "mercenaries" in the service of the United States.
