"McRussian's" burgers made in Russia


Two famous Russian directors, Nikita Mikhalkov and Andrey Konchalovskiy Putin asked the President to create for nearly one billion rubles (about 17.5 milliond euros) a fast-food chain 100% Russian. The idea is to beat McDonald's to "provide an alternative to the chains of Western fast food."


This chain would use mainly regional products and could serve restaurant chains for schools for example.


The two film legends believe that the project will be profitable in less than 5 years.


The company name might be "We eat at home," this brand is already part of women's Konchalovskiy, actress Yulia Vysotskaya, famous for its cooking show on television and cookbooks. It also has two or three restaurants in Moscow.

Greece: Viral Video on YouTube - Stealing a motorcycle in 2 Minutes!


This video has been around the web in Greece: it shows two people stealing a motorcycle. The bike was parked, fastened with a padlock and covered with a tarp on the street, but no problem for the two thieves. In 2 minutes 30 they managed to steal it.


Surveillance cameras filmed the scene and the video was posted online by the owner of the motorcycle that asks for help to find her.




Turkey: the Directorate of Religious Affairs authorizes toilet paper


The Turkish Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) wrote a fatwa saying that the use of toilet paper is permitted by Islam, but the water should be the main source of purification.

Portugal wins € 1.6 million with a tax on plastic bags
