A private Russian deputy of his immunity for opposing the annexation of the Crimea

The Duma voted to lift the parliamentary immunity of Ilya Ponomaryov. This politician of 39 years had been the only Russian MP to vote against the annexation of the Crimea. He is currently the United States, where he advocated for the extension of economic sanctions against Moscow.
