War in Syria desperate cry of NGOs

Faced with the civil war in Syria and its disastrous consequences for civilians, NGOs pushing a cry of disappointment and despair. In one report, 21 human rights organizations accuse the international community on Thursday not to have been able to manage a humanitarian disaster and to be partly responsible for the fact that 2014 was the darkest of the conflict Syrian.

"If you look through the indicators that we have analyzed, said Daniel Gorevan who works for the NGO Oxfam, there were more murders, more bombings, a massive increase in the number displaced and a huge increase in the number of people in need of humanitarian assistance inside Syria. "

The report of the organizations that is titled "Failed guilty in Syria" regrets that the resolutions of the Security Council of the UN has been "ignored or undermined by the belligerents, (...) or by members of the Security Council countries of the UN. "

"Our conclusion is that the resolutions of the Security Council have largely failed over what (members) had intended to do, namely to provide the greatest protection and assistance to people inside Syria "added Daniel Gorevan.

On March 15 will mark a sad anniversary, that of the start of the conflict in Syria in 2011. There are nearly 4 years, who would have thought that peaceful demonstrations by some of the people to challenge the regime would be repressed to the point of triggering a civil war.
