"Insufficient progress" in Brussels on Greece

Brussels regrets the lack of progress with Greece on issues of funding. Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission, and Alexis Tsipras, head of the Greek government met for the second time.

Athens provides play the game and implement the reforms demanded in exchange for a new envelope, but the process has apparently been delayed.

Jean-Claude Juncker:

"I am not satisfied with the developments in recent weeks; I do not think we have made enough progress. But I will try to push for a successful conclusion on the issues we have to deal. "

Alexis Tsipras:

"I'm optimistic that we have the political will soon find solutions to our common problems and I think if the will is there, then anything is possible."

An agreement was reached in late February to extend the four months of Greece's financing program in exchange for drastic reforms, including the implementation of some has already begun. But some concern goes behind the scenes of the member states fearing an accident and forced out of the euro zone.
