France: government goes into force on the Macron law

"A majority are likely on the text, but it is uncertain. Therefore, I will not take any risks. I will not take responsibility for the risk of rejection of such a project that I consider essential to our economy."

In France, the government made a surprise decision to use Article 49-3 of the Constitution for the adoption of the Macron law. Clearly, the text will not be passed by Parliament, but adopted by decree. Many MPs in the majority were opposed to this law, hence the forced passage of Prime Minister Manuel Valls.

"A majority are likely on the text, but it is uncertain. Therefore, I will not take any risks. I will not take responsibility for the risk of rejection of such a project that I consider essential to our economy, '' he said before the Chamber.

The UMP and IDU filed a motion of censure which, however, has little chance of being adopted. It would lead to the fall of a government, which now seems alone, according to the deputy of Essonne, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan: '' This government has no majority and he is forced to go through the 49- 3. The French Socialist Party will end up like the Greek PASOK to 5% of the vote, as it plunges the country into an economic crisis, it does not solve problems, and he obeyed in Brussels. '

Aimed at boosting growth and economic activity, Macron law provides a number of reforms, including labor enlargement on Sunday in the trade, a measure which crystallized critics on the left and right.
