The pro-Russian separatists announced Friday morning the death of four civilians in the city of Donetsk while Kiev reported that six soldiers were killed and 18 others injured in 24 hours in eastern Ukraine.
The heart of the fighting remains the area of Donetsk airport, where separatists have launched an offensive since Thursday.
The rebels had not succeeded in driving Ukrainian troops of this site largely destroyed. A site of strategic importance as symbolic.
Since April, 4800 people died in fighting between pro-Russian separatists and Ukrainian army, soldiers and civilians.
