France: 12 new arrests in the investigation of the Paris attacks

Twelve people were arrested last night in several municipalities in the Paris region and put into custody.

Most are already known to the police for ordinary facts and will be interviewed on the "logistical support possible" that they are likely to have made - including weapons and vehicles - to Amédy Coulibaly, the policyholder hostage to the Porte de Vincennes.

These are DNA fingerprints found in the car Coulibaly and wiretaps that have routed the investigators.

Manuel Valls, head of the French government:

"We will continue to act, since the threat is at a very high level, and that we must do everything to protect the French, by questioning those involved in the bombings, which were the accomplices of the three terrorists."

Joachim Fritz-Joly, for his part, will Tuesday whether he will be extradited from Bulgaria to France. Arrested while attempting to visit Syria, that French 28 year old is suspected of links with Kouachi brothers. He was accompanied by three people, suspicious too, but were able to continue their journey.
