The new Greek government has already started negotiations with the country's creditors

The new Greek government was sworn in. The ceremony was held at the presidential palace in Athens. As Alexis Tsipras, the new prime minister yesterday, most ministers have chosen to pay civil manner oath only. But members of the small party Independent Greeks were sworn on the Bible.

One of the heavyweights of this government is Yanis Varoufakis, Minister of Finance. One of the most radical of this government, he fights against what he calls the "odious debt". It is he who will be in charge of negotiations on the debt with creditors of Greece. Negotiations have already started, he assured before the ceremony.

The leader of the sovereigntist party Independent Greeks, which allowed Syriza to form his coalition, gets him the defense portfolio.

Within this new Greek cabinet, the number of portfolios has been reduced, and four of them were grouped into super-ministries, those of Finance, Interior, Culture and Health.

This Greek cabinet was very cool reception by the markets: Athens fell 5% after the announcement of its formation.
