61 dead in Pakistan: Shia again targeted


The attack was carried out in full Friday prayers at a Shiite mosque in southern Pakistan, in the city of Shikarpur. The balance reported at least 61 dead and dozens injured. The authorities have not yet determined whether it was a suicide bomber or a bomb planted in the mosque.


In the aftermath of the attack, hundreds of Shiite took to the streets to protest against the attack claimed by Jundullah, a small group close to the Taliban.


Shortly after the explosion, hundreds of people rushed to help the wounded prisoners rubble inside the mosque.


Witnesses said the lack of ambulance. The injured have been rushed to hospital in taxis and on board rickshaw bikes.
