Renewed tension between murderous Hezbollah and Israel

Two Israeli soldiers were killed and seven others injured yesterday in an attack claimed by the radical Lebanese Shiite movement.

In retaliation, the IDF bombed several villages in southern Lebanon, where are the positions of the Lebanese army and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon is responsible for monitoring the Israeli-Lebanese border. A Spanish UN peacekeeper was killed in the violence.

The Security Council of the United Nations met in emergency to call for an immediate de-escalation.

Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister did not mince his words when that Israel and Hezbollah fought a war in 2006, a bloody conflict with over 1,300 deaths mostly civilians.

"Those behind this attack will pay a high price. Iran via Hezbollah tried to establish an additional terrorist front against us from the Golan Heights. We take strong measures against the attempt. "

The attack was hailed by Palestinian groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad, but also in Lebanon, where Hezbollah flags were waved at the border with Israel and the southern suburbs of Beirut, a stronghold of the Shiite movement.
