The death of Luise Rainer, actress 104 years

German actress Luise Rainer has died in London, where she resided. She was suffering from pneumonia.

She best remembered for being Oscar-winning twice: in 1936 for The Great Ziegfeld and a year later for The Good Earth, a film adaptation of a novel by Pearl Buck.
