A 2 year old kills his mother, with his pistol, Idaho (USA)

A two year old accidentally killed his mother Tuesday in an American supermarket shooting him with the gun she carried in her purse. The incident took place in a WalMart in Hayden, Idaho (northern United States), confirmed the police in a statement. "On December 30 at 10:20 am (6:20 p.m. GMT) of (agents) Police responded to calls indicating that there was shooting inside the WalMart store Hayden," writes the police in his statement. "Arriving at the scene, police found a 29-year-old likely died from gunshot wounds. The preliminary investigation indicates that she was shopping with her two year old boy and other family members, "explains the press release. "Her child was sitting on the seat of the truck" races and grabbed "the weapon of the victim who was hidden in her purse and was discharged, hitting the victim," he continues. Police later identified the latter as Veronica Rutledge, a resident of Blackfoot, Idaho also "The shots seem accidental. Inspectors are examining the scene "of the accident and question witnesses, police said. The chain WalMart for his part said that a "very sad incident took place today (Tuesday) in our store (Hayden), which resulted in the death of a client. We are cooperating fully "with the police. "No one else was hurt, fortunately," said police Lt. Stuart Miller at a press conference broadcast on local television. He also noted that Ms. Rutledge held a weapon carry permit. "When you have the right to carry a concealed weapon, you must be able to protect your safety," he argued. "We must act responsibly and in this case, unfortunately, I guess all precautionary measures have not been taken." Accidents and killings with personal weapons occur regularly in the United States where legislation on firearms is very flexible in many states. In August a nine-year-old girl was killed in Arizona and accidentally shooting his teacher with a machine gun she lost control, another tragic accident that had once again revived the debate over gun control. A proposed tightening of federal legislation on firearms designed after the killing of the Sandy Hook School, in which 20 children died, Adam Lanza killer using a semi-automatic rifle that belonged to his mother, has, however, smashed the opposition Congress.
