Netanyahu promises to respond with "an iron fist"

Israeli Prime Minister spoke publicly Tuesday evening after the attack on the synagogue in Jerusalem. "The world is watching these events but to our great regret, he does not ask the Palestinians to stop incitement to violence against Israel, which is the root of the conflict," he has said, calling on all leaders of the "civilized world "to express their outrage.

In addition, he said he ordered the security forces to "destroy the homes of terrorists" and strengthen punitive measures against those who "incite hatred". He also announced a strengthening of security measures in the Holy City.
