Israel vows strong response and accused the Palestinian Authority

Amazement and indignation in Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls for firmness and promises to respond with an iron hand in the attack which he calls "terrorist wave". He has already ordered the demolition of houses of the assailants. Security is tight in the Holy City. "I call on all the leaders of the civilized world: I want to see outrage without conciliation, against these acts, the killings of Israelis, Jews. Do not make distinctions with blood. "

Violently attacked by Israel: Palestinian President. Mahmoud Abbas accused of being responsible for the attack. He also condemned the attack, not enough to Benjamin Netanyahu.

"We strongly condemn this incident and we accept no attacks against civilians regardless of the circumstances said Mahmoud Abbas. We condemn these actions but we also condemn the attacks against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy places. "

Tensions are already high in Jerusalem especially around the sensitive site of the Temple Mount where Jewish extremists have recently stepped up their campaign to win the right to pray.
