The mission of NATO in Afghanistan is not quite over.
If the departure of combat troops is expected in December, 12,500 foreign troops should remain in the country in 2015.
The lower house of the Afghan parliament approved on Sunday an agreement with NATO and the United States, which provides for the maintenance of power assistance and training.
"I think it's very important for the future of Afghanistan. If I want to see my children and millions more live in prosperity, then we have a partnership between Afghanistan and the United States, "said the MP Shukria Barekzai.
"Of the 26 articles of the agreement, 22 are in violation of our religion, our sovereignty and fundamental rights of our citizens," responded one of his colleagues, Abdul Satar Khawasi more critical of the agreement Bilateral Security (BSA) with NATO and the United States, which is part of the mission "Support resolved."
The agreement was signed on September 30, the day of the inauguration of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. His predecessor, Hamid Karzai, had been more reticent towards this mission.
More than 4,600 Afghans, members of the police or military have been killed since the beginning of the year, about 300 more than in 2013.
