Violations of the cease-fire in Ukraine: at least 7 injured to Donetsk airport

Shellfire killed at least seven injured in the village of Pisky, a town not far from Donetsk airport in eastern Ukraine.

The bombing comes amid a team of observers from the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) was present at Pisky to exchange with soldiers on the cease-fire in the region.

In Brussels, the commander of NATO forces in Europe, General Breedlove Pilip spoke on the issue of sending defensive weapons in Ukraine:

"The West should take into account all our tools to respond to the crisis in Ukraine. Could this be unsettling? The answer is yes. Furthermore, inaction could also be destabilizing. We continue to see disturbing elements of air defense, command and support, supplies and equipment that traverse a completely porous border, "he said.

The General also expressed "doubts" about the cease-fire under the Minsk Agreement 2.

Both sides accuse each other of violating the truce.

Sporadic fighting also take place near the strategic port of Mariupol, the last major city in eastern Ukraine under government control of Kiev.
