End of the hostage taking in Turkey, two assailants killed the wounded Attorney


In Turkey, hostage taking ended on Tuesday evening. The security forces stormed against armed men who held a prosecutor. Two kidnappers were killed, the magistrate was seriously injured.


It all started at midday when gunmen extreme left militants stormed the court, taking hostage the prosecutor. They threatened to shoot if the Turkish police did not recognize its responsibility in the death of a protester last year ( ).


The building was completed. Important deployed police forces. Negotiations were initiated, but apparently this was not successful.


An explosion and gunfire were heard in the early evening in the court.

Two ambulances were then seen leaving.


For much of the day, the Turkish authorities have imposed a media radio silence.


The hostage was claimed by the party / Revolutionary Front for the Liberation of the People (DHKP C), known for its numerous attacks in Turkey since the 1990s.
