USA: vote in the House of Representatives to send lethal weapons in Ukraine


The House of Representatives has a net pressure on the Obama administration to send lethal weapons to Ukraine. US politicians, Republicans and Democrats voted overwhelmingly last night in favor of a resolution to that effect. Objective: to help Kiev to defend its territorial sovereignty against "unwarranted and continued aggression of Russia."


"Unfortunately, for Ukrainians and for international security, President Obama chose inaction in the form of endless debate, deplored Florida Republican Ileana Ros-Lehtinen elected. Because there are many more things at stake than the fate of Ukraine.


The Obama administration announced this month delivery to Ukraine for $ 75 million of non-lethal military equipment, while the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko claiming lethal weapons.

The head of the White House remains cautious as providing such weapons "could escalate the Russians and pro-Russian separatists, explained a spokesman of the head of the White House.


Time will tell if the pressure of the House of Representatives will influence Barack Obama.
