More than a dozen civilians were killed and thirty injured Friday morning in Baghdad in a double car bombing. The attack comes a day after a series of bombings and shootings that killed more than two dozen deaths in the Iraqi capital and its surroundings.
This Friday, the day of prayer, it is a crowded market in a neighborhood of the city center that was targeted.

This is the worst wave of violence ever known in Iraq since 2011 and the withdrawal of US troops. Jihadist Islamic State group now control about a third of the country. For now, the attack has not been claimed.
