Unprecedented demonstration in Kabul.
About 200 people took to the streets to demand justice for Farkhunda.
Farkhunda is this young 27 year old woman beaten to death Thursday by a pack of Afghans, who accused him of burning a copy of the Koran. His body was then burned and thrown into the water.
The Afghan interior minister has since announced that the crowd had acted on the basis of "false accusations".
Maliha Arghawan, one of the protesters, asked the government and the police "to explain why this act has occurred. We are here to defend his memory and seek justice, "she said.
Afghan another hidden behind a mask - representing the bloody face of the victim - believes that "women's rights are just empty shells in Afghanistan. Women have no rights. This is the most dangerous country for women, "she said.
The day after the funeral of Farkhunda, the Interior Ministry said to have laid off thirteen policemen suspected of having witnessed the scene and failing to intervene to save the young woman.
A dozen people have also been arrested.
