The families of the victims of the crash of the A320 arrived in the afternoon near the disaster area. They had been informed a few hours earlier, the circumstances of the tragedy. An additional shock to those families, about 300 people, who then traveled in buses from Marseille airport to Vernet and Seyne-les-Alpes, two villages located ten kilometers as the crow flies from the place where their loved ones perished. Teams of Red Cross and psychologists were on hand to welcome them.
The relatives of the crew members were separated from other families.
After attending the ceremonies in the funeral chapels, families have gathered in front of German flags, Spanish or American brandished by the police in front of the mountain.
