Netherlands: Royal family will return a painting plundered by the Nazis

In the Netherlands, the royal family will return a painting from his collection, a painting that had been confiscated from its Jewish owners by the Nazis.

The announcement was made Tuesday.

This discovery follows an independent inquiry commissioned in 2012 by the royal family.

This is a picture of Joris van der Haagen, seventeenth century painter. The painting was acquired by Queen Juliana of the Netherlands in 1960, but then we do know the history of this work.
