Dropped, a reality TV show of Swedish origin, was to be released this summer on TF1. The concept: two teams, composed partly of former elite athletes, are released in the wild. The adventure was stopped shortly after filming began with the tragic crash, which claimed the lives of ten people, including three well-known French sports. President Hollande expressed his 'emotion'.
Vive also emotion TF1, which had already been confronted with the death of a candidate and a doctor on another reality TV show Koh Lanta, carried out by the same production company, ALP.
Other candidates narrowly escaped death, as the swimmer and Olympic champion Alain Bernard, who boarded another helicopter for weight question.
