Ukraine: the pro-Russian claim to have begun the withdrawal of heavy weapons

In Ukraine, the pro-Russian separatists claim to have started on Tuesday the withdrawal of heavy weapons, one of the main points of the agreement Minsk 2. The withdrawal impossible to check for the moment, was delayed by the continued fighting, particularly in the city of Debaltseve, since fallen to the rebels.

Edouard Bassourine, deputy commander of the armed forces of the self-proclaimed Republic of Donetsk, an update on ongoing operations: "The withdrawal of weapons began in four cities: Debaltseve, Horlivka, Donetsk and Telmanove, which does not want that the withdrawal takes place simultaneously in four cities. For example, right now, there is a bombing in Donetsk airport. ''

Both sides accuse each other of violating the cease-fire. For the Ukrainian army, no way at this time to remove weapons as the separatists have not stopped their attacks, particularly around the strategic port of Mariupol, considered by many as the next target of pro-Russian rebels.

"The withdrawal of heavy weapons will begin only from the time the article 1 of the Minsk Agreement, the cease-fire will be respected. But the cease-fire is not applied yet, stressed the spokesman of Andriy Lysenko army. By claiming to have begun the withdrawal of heavy weapons, the rebels fact combine their men and arms to move to other sites. ''
