Boris Nemtsov, one of the opposition figures in Russia, was murdered that night in Moscow. The information initially announced by Russian agencies, has been confirmed. Boris Nemtsov was hit by four bullets in the chest, while he was in the center of the Russian capital, not far from the Kremlin. An investigation is ongoing.
55 years old, Boris Nemtsov was known for his struggle against President Putin's politics. He was with Garry Kasparov, one of the leaders of the movement Solidarnost.
During his career he was particularly energy minister under Boris Yeltsin. In 2009 he presented himself for mayor of Sochi.
