Deadly avalanches in Afghanistan

In Afghanistan, avalanches were a hundred deaths in the mountainous province of Panjshir, in the northeast of the country. Many people are still trapped under the snow. Rescuers were at work in the evening to try to reach them, but they are starved of resources. Most dig with bare hands or shovels.

"Three children and one adult are still under the snow, said the man. Rescuers managed to save two people. 300 animals were also buried. ''

Rarely thirty years, Afghanistan had experienced such avalanches. It snowed tremendously since the beginning of the week on the Panjshir, but not only. Other provinces have also been hit by deadly avalanches.
