Striking Lufthansa pilots to defend their retirement

Lufthansa pilots are again strike until Tuesday midnight. A movement that is not a surprise since the negotiations with the German airline had again failed Friday night.

This time it will be even canceled flights in 1350, almost a flight on both, and affected 150,000 passengers. Users exceeded by the tenth strike since April.

"The pilots earn enough, if a transient cookie in Munich. They can fly up to 65 years. They do not tell me it's impossible. Nobody believes them when they say they need to retire at 55 years. "

"It's a hard strike, but it becomes too painful, though on the other hand I understand that we want to fight for their rights, adds a man at Frankfurt airport. But it's still on the back of people like us that it falls, as on those who take the train. It's starting to do too much. "

The strikers are fighting to maintain a pre-retirement at age 55 with 60% of their salary until the official retirement age to 65. In late October, Lufthansa amounted to some € 170 million shortfall caused by the strikes.
