Air: low-cost safer than conventional companies?


The crash of the A320 from the low-cost airline Germanwings in the French Alps has shocked many of us.

A number of European airlines have decided to establish the rule of a permanent presence of two people in the cockpit of their aircraft.

It's the rules in force in the United States.

The European Commission claims that tougher rules should be applied if necessary.


Regulators are now awaiting the results of any investigation as Germanwings and its pool of insurers.
