Security has been strengthened in Tripoli after a double attack against diplomatic representations. A bomb exploded in the night in front of the Embassy of Morocco without casualties. Shortly before, gunmen opened fire on the South Korean embassy killing two Libyans.
The organization Islamic State (EI) claimed the attacks via Twitter. Since the beginning of the year, the jihadists have taken advantage of political chaos to multiply attacks. Faced with this growing threat, the United Nations has asked the various political groups in Libya early agreement on a national unity government. Talks resumed Monday in Algiers under the aegis of the UN.
