Israel is on high alert. The Jewish state has strengthened its security measures in major cities, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv in the lead, and in the occupied West Bank. A reaction to the escalation of tensions in recent days and commemorations of the tenth anniversary of the death of Yasser Arafat.
