In Poland, Holocaust survivors, heads of state and royalty are launching a new "Never again" 70 years after the liberation of the extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.
27 January marks the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest ever created Nazi death camp.
Nearly a million and a half people were killed in the concentration camp
located in the suburb of Oswiecim Poland and liberated by the Soviet Army in 1945.
Tuesday morning, the Auschwitz I site, the first and oldest part of the camp, flowers were laid and candles were lit by former prisoners between blocks 10 and 11, before the wall of executions .
