Netherlands: a second farm affected by bird flu

In the Netherlands, the avian flu has been detected in a second operation in western countries. Some 43,000 birds will be culled.

This weekend is the highly pathogenic H5N8 strain that was detected in the first farm. The authorities have not yet said whether it was the same variant of the virus.
